TimeControl is now available as a mobile interface. As of version 6.2, TimeControl will now include a mobile interface specifically designed for iPhones, Blackberry’s, Android and Windows 7 Mobile devices. The web-application requires no purchase of additional software and there is nothing to install or download. Users will simply point their smartphone’s browser to the special URL that is part of every TimeControl and they’ll see the new interface.

HMS has released version 6.1 of its well known TimeControl timesheet system. This new version extends the TimeControl architecture with all-new support for MySQL along with updated support for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and Sybase, new functionality including Personal Pre-loads and a whoe rewrite of numerous administraiton functions such as Table access into TimeControl 6’s multi-browser architecture.

HMS has released the latest version of TimeControl, 5.1.2.  As usual, the new version has a number of fixes but more interestingly, the version now supports the use of Primavera “Steps” for updating tasks.  This project updating feature lets a project manager define a number of sub-activity steps which can be progressed individually.  The summary of that progress can be used to update the progress of the task itself.
